  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake a snail pie from pita bread with minced meat in the oven? Prepare your food. Take any minced meat, beef, pork, or chicken will do. You can put any of your favorite spices in it. I added sweet paprika and black pepper.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel and chop the onion. You can just cut it, you can put it in a blender, I grated it. If you like, lightly fry the onion in vegetable oil. Add onions and spices to the minced meat.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Stir the minced meat until smooth. Since I grated the onion, a lot of juice formed. And after mixing, the minced meat became juicy. If your minced meat turns out dry, I advise you to add a little water, so it will be easier to spread the minced meat on the pita bread.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

How to roll a minced snail? To begin, cut the lavash sheets into halves.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Spread the minced meat over the pita bread so that it evenly covers the entire sheet.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Roll the pita bread into a tube along the larger side.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Roll all the halves in the same way. You will get four rolls.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Take a suitable round shape. Mine is 20 cm in diameter, detachable. Grease the sides and bottom of the pan with vegetable oil.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the lavash rolls in the mold, starting from the center, twisting them in a spiral.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

To fill, grate the cheese on a fine grater. Add eggs and sour cream to it.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

    Stir the mixture until smooth.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Pour the resulting mixture over the pie. If you, like me, have a detachable form, then I advise you to wrap it in foil, as the filling may leak. I didn’t have foil, so I placed the pan with the pie on the bottom of another, larger pan.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Bake the pie in the oven at 180-200°C for 30-40 minutes until golden brown on top. Calculate the exact time and temperature according to the model of your oven! Cool the finished pie a little and serve, cutting into pieces like a cake.

What a beautiful pie! And I really wanted to cook this splendor) Snail from pita bread with minced meat in the oven turned out to be an excellent pie. I increased the quantity of products a little using a calculator and prepared it in a mold with a diameter of 25 cm. I used minced pork, added smoked ground paprika and ground black pepper. I fried the onion until transparent and added it to the minced meat according to the author’s advice. The minced meat turned out a little dry, I added a little water as recommended by the author. I bought thin Armenian lavash. I rolled up the tubes without any problems and laid them out like a snail. I prepared the pie without filling for my own reasons. Just brushed with beaten egg and sprinkled with sesame seeds. I baked the snail pie for 35 minutes at 180 C until golden brown. An amazing pie made from simple ingredients. The snail pie looks very beautiful, a real table decoration. I made this recipe for a pie for a snack. It went off with a bang))) The dough turned out to be like a puff pastry, the filling was very juicy. The snail pie made from pita bread with minced meat in the oven turned out incredibly tasty and aromatic. And I also really liked that the filling in the pie is everywhere and there is plenty of it! And not like in pies, only in the middle. I’ll try to make such an interesting and simple pie with a different filling) I really liked the recipe! Thank you!
