Lavash roll with cucumber and cheese

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make pita bread with crab sticks and melted cheese? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You will need thin Armenian lavash. How to choose the right lavash? First of all, look at the manufacturing date on the packaging. Do not take expired baked goods. Fresh pita bread should have a pleasant smell. Look carefully to make sure there are no stains or signs of mold.
STEP 2

Wash the cucumber, dry it and cut into thin slices or circles. It is not necessary to cut off the skin of a cucumber, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter.
STEP 3

Hard-boil the eggs first. How to hard boil eggs? To prevent eggs from cracking during cooking, place them in cold water and cook over low heat. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes after boiling, then cover with cold water and cool. The shell will be better cleaned from a sharp temperature change. Cool and peel the eggs, then grate them on a coarse grater.
STEP 4

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. The cheese can be anything. The main thing is that it is tasty, fresh and aromatic. I have a regular Russian one. You can replace the hard one with the fused one of the “Friendship” type. To make it more convenient to rub, keep it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 5

Wash the lettuce leaves and dry thoroughly. Wet leaves can make pita bread very soggy.
STEP 6

Spread a sheet of lavash on a work surface and spread evenly with mayonnaise. For piquancy, you can add 1-2 cloves of garlic, passed through a press, to the mayonnaise in advance.
STEP 7

Visually divide the pita bread into 4 equal parts. Distribute grated eggs over the first quarter. Place lettuce leaves on the second one. Next add grated cheese. Distribute the cucumbers onto the last part.
STEP 8

Roll the pita bread into a tight roll. How to properly roll the pita bread into a roll? Roll it carefully and as tightly as possible so that the filling does not fall out at the edges and the pita bread itself does not tear. If the roll is not rolled tightly, it will be difficult to cut it into beautiful pieces.
STEP 9

Wrap the roll in cling film. Place in the refrigerator for one hour. During this time it will be well soaked and become soft.
STEP 10

Cut the finished roll into portions and serve. Bon appetit!
