General's salad with radish

Vegetables and meat contain all useful microelements and vitamins. There are different recipes for preparing this salad; I suggest the version with radish, which is the more famous one. Vegetables add juiciness to the salad, apples add a pleasant sourness; if you don’t know in advance that it contains radish, you won’t immediately feel its taste. The central layer of the salad is meat, which can also be replaced with fried mushrooms. Making the salad is simple.

    How to make General's salad with radish? Boil chicken fillet, potatoes, eggs, beets in advance. I add salt when cooking, so I don’t add salt to the salad ingredients. We lay out the salad in layers, so prepare a transparent salad bowl or a flat dish and a circle (I make it from paper).

    1st layer – grate the boiled potatoes on a coarse grater, brush with mayonnaise.

    2nd layer – grate the radish on a fine grater. Squeeze the juice out of it, lay out a layer of radish, add a little salt, and brush this layer with sour cream, it will soften the taste of the radish.

    3rd layer - grate raw carrots on a coarse grater, then mayonnaise; when greasing with mayonnaise, lightly press down all layers.

    5th layer – finely chop the onion, then mayonnaise. If the onion is bitter, pour boiling water over it and rinse under cold water.

    7th layer - divide the eggs into whites and yolks, grate them separately, leave some for decoration, put the rest in a layer, then mayonnaise.

    8th layer – grate the beets on a coarse grater, coat them with mayonnaise and mix slightly with the beets so that the mayonnaise is colored with beet juice. Then you will get a beautiful raspberry-pink shade of the layer, with burgundy veins of beets.

    You can decorate to your taste. I decorated the edges with grated egg yolk and the center with egg white. Then remove the circle from the paper, cut its edge and carefully remove it. You can stop here - the salad is ready!

    If you want to decorate with a carrot flower, then continue. Take the sharp part of the carrot.

    Using a sharp knife, cut out the petals, starting from the wide end of the carrot to the sharp end. Cut within 1 cm of the end of the carrot.
