STEP 1
Remove the pits from the cherries, cut them in half and place them in a frying pan or saucepan. Add sugar and starch and cook a little.

Add the egg and mix. If the dough gathers into a lump, do not add anything else.

If not, add cognac or water.

Carefully transfer two thirds of the dough into the mold, mold the bottom and sides. The diameter of the mold is 24 cm, the height is 6 cm. The height of the dough side is approximately 3.5-4 cm.

This is how it works. Place the mold with the dough and the remaining third of the dough in the refrigerator.

For the filling, break the eggs into a bowl.

We put cottage cheese there. If it is grainy, rub it through a sieve or puree it with a blender or potato press. Add sugar and flour, mix until smooth.

Place a cherry layer on the dough, about two-thirds.

Next is the filling. Lay out carefully so as not to disturb the layers.

Grind the rest of the dough on top and cover the surface of the pie with chocolate chips. Put it in the oven. Temperature 200-210 degrees. Time - 30-40 minutes.
