Chicken salad with grapefruit

STEP 1

Prepare food. The meat can be boiled in advance.
STEP 2

Pour hot water over raisins and prunes and leave for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse and dry. Cut the prunes into three parts, leave the raisins whole, even if they are large.
STEP 3

Lightly fry the nuts in a dry frying pan over medium heat, this will allow them to reveal their flavor and aroma more clearly.
STEP 4

Cut the Chinese cabbage a little smaller than half a prune. If you take a lettuce leaf, tear it with your hands.
STEP 5

Cut the meat into not very small pieces.
STEP 6

Assembling the salad: Place meat in a salad bowl and add mayonnaise.
STEP 7

Add prunes and raisins.
STEP 8

And Chinese cabbage or lettuce. Mix carefully.
STEP 9

Prepare the “bowls”: Cut the grapefruit in half along the slices. Run a thin, sharp knife around the perimeter, carefully cutting along the flesh.

Run a spoon along the knife mark and easily remove the slices from the hemispheres.
STEP 11

Clean each hemisphere from any remaining film and decorate by cutting out the cloves. Using a knife, peel the pulp from the partitions. Cut each slice into three parts.
STEP 12

Fill the bowls with salad. Place grapefruit pulp on top and sprinkle with nuts.
STEP 13
