Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 1 hr
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare shortbread dough: mix half a glass of sugar, 1 egg, butter, flour. Add a pinch of salt. I started kneading with a blender and finished kneading with my hands.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

As a result, we should get a stiff shortbread dough.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Take the baking pan and wipe it dry. And we begin to lay out, practically sculpt, the base of our pie in a thin layer. I first sculpt the base, and then add the sides. The base for the pie should not be made thick.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Prepare the filling for the pie: cottage cheese, sugar (half a glass), 5 eggs and starch.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Mix the curd filling with a blender until it becomes sour cream. Particular attention should be paid to ensure that there are no lumps of curd left. I usually work with a blender in the "impulse" program.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour the curd filling into the mold onto the base.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Peel the apples and remove the seeds. Apples can be cut into long strips, thin slices or triangles. The main thing is that the apple pieces are in the same style :)

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place apples in the curd filling of the pie, sprinkle with cinnamon and vanilla sugar. The pie is baked in the oven at 200 degrees (the oven is preheated). We determine readiness by the dryness of a toothpick inserted into the pie. On average, it takes 40 minutes until done, but it all depends on the oven. Once the cake is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool well. The cooling process is very important - the curd filling must “take”.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Slice, Instagram and devour) Bon appetit!

The cottage cheese turned out very beautiful! I really love these pies, but I make them without apples, sometimes I add berries or canned peaches instead, and sometimes I make a chocolate base; the hardest thing with this kind of pie is waiting for it to cool))) it’s impossible to resist!!!

Thanks for the healthy dessert! I'll just replace the sugar with honey.
