Beef lagman in a slow cooker classic
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make beef lagman in a slow cooker? First of all, prepare all the products according to the list. If you have frozen meat, you must first remove it from the freezer and leave it at room temperature until thawed.
STEP 2
Rinse the piece of beef, dry it and cut it into small cubes of the same size. By the way, it will be easier to cut the beef if you do not completely defrost the piece.
STEP 3
Pour a small amount of odorless vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. Set the “Frying” or “Baking” mode. When the oil is hot, send the beef to fry.
STEP 4
Close the multicooker lid and cook for about 15-20 minutes. Open the lid periodically and stir the meat so that nothing burns.
STEP 5
At this time, take care of your vegetables. Peel potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic. Cut the bell peppers in half and remove the seeds and cores. Remove the stems from eggplant and tomatoes. If desired, remove the skin from the eggplant; I don't do this. Rinse all vegetables.
STEP 6
Cut carrots, onions, eggplants, bell peppers and potatoes into small cubes. However, the cutting method can be any at your discretion.
STEP 7
Add onions and carrots to the beef and stir.
STEP 8
After a couple of minutes, add potatoes, bell peppers and eggplants. Stir again and cook for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 9
Next comes the line of finely chopped tomatoes. You can first remove the skin from the tomatoes. Add tomato paste to all ingredients. Salt everything to taste and sprinkle with your favorite spices. You can use a mixture of seasonings for lagman.
STEP 10
Pour boiling water over everything. How much water should I use? The amount depends on how thick the gravy you want in the end. I added 1 liter of boiling water and got a medium thick gravy.
STEP 11
Close the multicooker lid and set the “Stew” mode. My time was automatically set to 1 hour. Leave until ready. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, add finely chopped garlic and herbs to the lagman.
STEP 12
Boil spaghetti or special noodles for lagman according to the instructions on the package. Drain in a colander.
STEP 13
Place the spaghetti in a deep plate and add the aromatic sauce from the slow cooker (adjust the quantity to taste). Garnish with fresh herbs and sprinkle with ground black pepper. You can serve the dish to the table.
