Turkey with vegetables
You can cook turkey with vegetables in a hundred different ways and using different technologies: baking, stewing, boiling, frying, steaming. The end result will be a variety of dishes suitable for a balanced diet. Of course, taking into account the fact that, in addition to turkey meat, the composition includes useful and healthy products.
The fillet (and not only) part of this bird is cooked super quickly in a slow cooker. The only negative is that turkey is much tougher and drier than chicken. But you can use some tricks and try to soften it and make it more juicy. Here we mean any dishes without exception. That is, it makes no difference what recipes for turkey with vegetables you will use in practice.
The best and repeatedly proven method is pickling. That is, the turkey must be marinated in advance in any suitable sauce or marinade. If you don’t like the taste of vinegar too much (although it goes away completely during heat treatment), you can simply rub the pieces of meat with sour cream or mayonnaise. A regular mixture of spices and salt will also work - rub the meat on all sides with it and leave for half an hour.
The second method is not very suitable for restrictive nutrition, but nevertheless it is also good and time-tested. Turkey fillet should be fried in oil on both sides until golden brown. If your dish requires small parts, cut the meat just as finely and fry it to the same crust. If you need large ones, cut them large and fry them too. Thus, you seem to seal all the juices inside; during further cooking they will not evaporate - the crust prevents this. Well, dealing with vegetables won’t be a problem)
By the way, almost all meat spices and not only them are suitable for turkey. Here you have marjoram, basil, cloves, nutmeg, all kinds of peppers, tarragon, and sage. Table red wine is traditionally served with turkey and vegetables main courses.
