STEP 1

Let's prepare the ingredients for stewing turkey fillet in sour cream. It is better to buy chilled turkey fillet in the store; unlike a frozen product, it retains more nutrients and vitamins. Wash the turkey fillet and cut into small cubes. We wash the meat again to remove blood clots.
STEP 2

Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes or halves of rings.
STEP 3

Pour a little vegetable oil into a deep frying pan with a thick bottom. Vegetable oil can be replaced with olive oil, then the dish will be even healthier and less caloric. Turn on the heat and heat the oil. Place cooked onions in oil. Fry it for 7 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden or silicone spatula.
STEP 4

Then add the turkey fillet, cut into pieces, into the frying pan with the onions. Fry the meat and onions, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes until the meat turns white.

Place a few tablespoons of thick, high-fat sour cream in a small container. Add salt, ground red pepper to taste, you can add some other spices or herbs to taste. Pour in half a glass of water, add a tablespoon of flour, stir the mixture until smooth so that the flour does not form lumps. Then pour the sour cream filling into the frying pan with the turkey.
STEP 6

Stir, reduce heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for about 25 minutes. Periodically check the condition of the dish and stir. If the sauce becomes too thick, you can add a small amount of water, bring the mixture to a boil and turn off the heat. Let the dish stand covered for a few minutes and serve.
