STEP 1

How to make a French-style turkey in the oven with meat, potatoes and cheese? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Choose turkey meat without bones. I like to use thigh fillet. It turns out juicier than breast fillet. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them to remove dirt. The proportions of ingredients are approximate, some can be changed to your taste.
STEP 2

Cut the turkey meat into small pieces and pound lightly with a kitchen hammer.
STEP 3

Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and cut into half rings.
STEP 4

Any heat-resistant form is suitable for baking. I take the ceramic one. Grease the bottom and sides of the mold with vegetable oil. Place the pieces of meat and sprinkle with chopped onions. Add salt and spices.
STEP 5

Cut half the potatoes into slices and place them throughout the pan. Grease with sour cream. If the sour cream is thick, then it can be diluted a little with water.
STEP 6

Wash the champignons and cut into slices. Spread over potatoes. Add salt and spices.
STEP 7

Next add a second layer of potatoes. And grease it with sour cream too.
STEP 8

Place chopped tomatoes on top. Cover the pan with foil and place in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for 40-50 minutes. STEP 9

Then remove the foil, sprinkle with grated cheese and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes. The cheese will have time to melt.
STEP 10

Turkey in French is ready! Place on plates and serve hot. Bon appetit!
