Liver pates are one of the best cold appetizers. They stimulate appetite and fill you up perfectly. The air mass prepared from fresh liver at home has an excellent taste and simply melts on the tongue. Recipes for liver pates are divided into several types. They are prepared from pork, beef, and chicken offal, choosing exclusively fresh pieces without an unpleasant odor. They are cleaned of veins and films and thoroughly washed with cold water. Some housewives, before cooking the liver, soak it in milk or white for a couple of hours. Then the liver is boiled and chopped in a blender with carrots and onions pre-fried in vegetable oil. To achieve a delicate consistency, add a large amount of butter to the pate. All ingredients are brought to a homogeneous mass, adding your favorite spices and aromatic herbs during the cooking process. Liver pate is served on slices of freshly baked white or black bread, in shortbread or butter dough tartlets, on croutons and toast. Its pleasant taste is perfectly complemented by chopped herbs and pieces of vegetables. The homemade version can be stored in the refrigerator for a long time. This is an excellent appetizer for any holiday table, filling and very tasty.
