Udon noodles with pork in sweet sauce

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Cut the pork into cubes and fry in heated vegetable oil in a frying pan (or in a saucepan, I don’t have one, so I do everything in a frying pan) for about 7 minutes.
STEP 2
While the meat is fried, boil the noodles in salted boiling water according to the time indicated on the pack. It is very important not to overcook the noodles, as they will still be subject to heat treatment. I have the indicated cooking time on the package - 7 minutes, I would advise cooking no more than 6 minutes, as the noodles turned out a little soggy.
STEP 3
Prepare the sauce. Mix soy sauce, honey and lemon juice, stir.
STEP 4
When the meat is fried, add salt and pepper to taste.
STEP 5
Pour the sauce we prepared over the meat, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for a couple of minutes. The meat should become a beautiful golden color.
STEP 6
Shred the carrots into thin long strips.
STEP 7
We also cut the pepper into strips. Add vegetables to the frying pan, fry for just a minute, add boiled noodles to the meat and vegetables, stir, fry for a minute or even less, turn off the heat, cover with a lid. The most important thing is not to overcook the vegetables; they should not be soft, they should be al dente. When serving, the finished dish can be decorated with sesame seeds or a sprig of herbs.
