STEP 1

How to make beef stew in a slow cooker with potatoes? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Wash boneless beef under running water, cut off fat and tendons, if any. This will make the dish less calorie and the meat soft. Cut the beef into small pieces. This way the meat will be ready faster. Any beef pulp intended for frying or stewing is suitable for this dish. Place the chopped beef in the multicooker bowl.
STEP 2

Peel the onion and finely chop it. It is better to take white onions; they will look more harmonious in the finished dish. Wash the carrots under running water, rubbing the peel with a brush. Peel the carrots and grate the vegetable on a coarse grater. If desired, you can cut the carrots with a knife so that they are guaranteed not to get lost in the finished dish. Add onions and carrots to meat.
STEP 3

Bell pepper and wash under running water. It's better to take red, but I have yellow. There is no difference in taste, but red would look better. Remove the stem and seeds from the pepper and cut into cubes. Place it in the slow cooker.
STEP 4

Wash the potatoes under running water, rubbing the skins with a brush and peel. Cut the tubers into medium cubes and add to the slow cooker. Next, pour in the tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste. At this stage, you can add your other favorite spices to taste. I added dried Provençal herbs.
STEP 5

Add water and stir. Cook beef with potatoes and vegetables on the “Stew” or “Simmer” program for 30-50 minutes. Choose the time and mode based on the operating characteristics of your equipment. About multicookers, read the article at the end of the recipe. Mine takes a long time to cook potatoes. If your multicooker is more powerful, then you should add the potatoes 20 minutes before the end of cooking, otherwise the potatoes will turn out to be mashed. Bon appetit!
