  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a simple manna in the oven with kefir? Prepare your food. Take a glass for measuring food with a volume of 250 ml. Kefir is suitable for any fat content; you may need more of it than indicated in the recipe. You can reduce the amount of sugar to your taste.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Take a deep bowl and pour semolina into it, then flour. Stir.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour kefir into semolina and flour, stir until smooth. Leave the semolina to swell for at least half an hour, maybe more. If by the end of time the mass seems too thick and dry, then pour in a little more kefir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

In a separate bowl, beat the egg and sugar with a mixer until fluffy and light.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add swollen semolina, baking powder, a pinch of vanillin and salt to the beaten egg. Don't be afraid to add salt to sweet pies - it will balance out the flavor.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Using a mixer at low speed, mix all ingredients until smooth. The dough should be fluid and of medium thickness. At this stage, you can add any dried fruits, fruits, berries, both fresh and frozen.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Take a suitable baking pan, I have a springform pan with a diameter of 20cm. Grease the bottom and sides with a small amount of vegetable oil. Pour the dough into the mold.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Bake the manna in an oven preheated to 180°C for 35 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the pan and the features of your oven. My manna baked for 50 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer - it should come out dry from the middle of the pie. Cool the finished manna completely and release it from the mold.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Serve manna with tea, coffee or milk. Bon appetit!
