Roast pork ribs with potatoes in pots

Delicious aromatic pot roast with the most tender ribs! Roast in pots prepared in this way turns out very tasty, for me personally, even tastier than cooked in the usual way - without frying the potatoes.)) And if you cook this roast with ribs in a marinade (as I bought this time), then it will turn out more aromatic and spicy. In any case, it will be very tasty!

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

    Prepare the ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Thaw the ribs (if frozen) and cut into pieces.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces (not too small).

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

    Peel the onion and chop.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse grater.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Fry the ribs until golden brown. If the ribs were without marinade, then at this stage they need to be salted and peppered.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the ribs in the pots WITHOUT excess oil, otherwise the potatoes will turn out very greasy.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Passivate onions and carrots in vegetable oil, add tomato sauce. When sauteing, try to use a minimum of oil, all for the same reason - so that the potatoes do not end up being too greasy.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the sautéed vegetables into pots. Now put one small bay leaf in each pot.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Fry the potatoes over high heat until half cooked, add salt and pepper.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Prepare the broth. I made the broth from half a Maggi "Beef on the Bone" bouillon cube.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Place the potatoes into pots and pour 200 ml of broth into each pot. Next, add boiled water to the required volume - so that the broth is slightly visible from under the potatoes.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Place the pots on a wire rack and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. oven, bake for 40 minutes. Just in case, insert a roasting pan under the grill with pots - it may start to boil over. After the roast is ready, you can take it out, stir and enjoy a delicious, aromatic and juicy dish. Bon appetit!

I wanted to make a portioned dish in pots. After searching my favorite website for one pot recipes, I liked the pork rib roast with one pot potatoes. Homemade pork ribs were in the freezer. Therefore, I decided to make a delicious roast for dinner according to this recipe only without tomatoes for 5 servings. I fried the ribs until golden brown and put them in pots. I added onions and carrots, but did not sauté. Placed potatoes cut into medium pieces. I added salt and pepper from the spices. Instead of broth, I poured water into each pot. I also grated some hard cheese on top. I baked my pots, covered with lids, in the oven for 1 hour at 180 C until the potatoes were completely cooked. The aromatic and satisfying dish delighted everyone. It's incredibly delicious! The ribs came out tender and soft. Great roast! I served it right in the pots, I think it’s more appetizing, with a slice of bread and salad. The dinner was a great success! The recipe is wonderful! I recommend to everyone! Many thanks to the author!
