For juiciness, add butter, and for an appetizing cap - cheese, this is optional. Prepare the pots for use in the oven.

    Rinse the onions and carrots under running water, peel and chop: chop the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Rinse the chicken fillet and dry. Cut into small cubes. In a frying pan in oil, fry the chicken fillet for 5 - 7 minutes, then add chopped onions and carrots and fry together until the vegetables are soft. Salt it a little.

    It is better to use young potatoes for this dish, but if you don’t have them, you can take them from stock. Wash and peel the potatoes. Dry the tubers and cut into small squares. The total cooking time for fillets in pots will depend on the size of the potatoes; the larger they are cut, the longer it will take to keep the pots in the oven.

Today I made chicken fillet in pots in the oven for lunch. The dish is absolutely simple to prepare. I fried the chopped fillet until golden brown, then added onions and carrots to it, kept it in the pan for a few minutes and put the meat and vegetables in pots. I put potatoes on top, salted them, and poured hot water. I added tomatoes and bay leaves (I did not add grated cheese and butter). I stewed the chicken with vegetables for 40-45 minutes. It turned out very tasty and satisfying! It was also juicy, so I didn’t serve any extra vegetables or salad. The potatoes came out soft and crumbly. Tomatoes, onions, and bay leaves made the dish very flavorful. Thanks a lot!
