Ramen soup with shrimp

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make ramen soup with shrimp? To begin, prepare all the necessary products indicated on the list. Take king or tiger shrimp, however, you can also use simple ones. Remove the shrimp from the freezer and leave at room temperature until completely thawed. To speed up the defrosting process, you can pour cold water over the shrimp and leave for a while. Boil the eggs hard.
STEP 2

Peel the carrots. To make the finished soup look colorful, I used half a yellow and an orange pepper. You can take red and green for example. Remove the seeds and core from the peppers. Rinse and dry the vegetables.
STEP 3

Grate the carrots on a grater for Korean salads or cut them into strips by hand. Grind the peppers into thin feathers. Peel the garlic.
STEP 4

Remove the heads and shells from the shrimp. Remove the vena cava on the back.
STEP 5

Heat vegetable oil in a high-rimmed frying pan or saucepan. Fry the finely chopped garlic. Cook over high heat, stirring, for a few seconds. If you are cooking with fresh ginger, you should also add it to the pan at this stage, after cutting it into small pieces.
STEP 6

Add ginger powder and hot pepper. Adjust the amount of hot pepper to your taste.
STEP 7

After 5-10 seconds, add the carrots. Stirring constantly, cook over high heat for a couple of minutes.
STEP 8

Next comes the turn of the bell pepper. Add it to the pan and continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
STEP 9

Add a little sugar and pour in soy sauce. Mix everything again and leave it this way until the vegetables become soft. This will take you very little time, from a few seconds to a minute.
STEP 10

Use a spatula or spoon to push the vegetables around the edges of the pan. Turn down the flame a little. Arrange the shrimp as shown in the photo. Fry on one side for 30-40 seconds.
STEP 11

Then flip each shrimp and cook for another 30 seconds.
STEP 12

Add ramen noodles to all the ingredients in the pan. Pour boiling water, cover with a lid and remove from heat. While the soup is infusing, peel the eggs and cut the nori sheets into small pieces using scissors.
STEP 13

Pour soup into a deep serving bowl.
STEP 14

Add one or two egg halves and nori leaves. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and finely chopped green onions. Done, ready to serve!
