I’ve always liked Caucasian cuisine, but I’m not particularly fond of pies, but after trying Ossetian pies, my attitude towards pies changed, the composition is simple, and if you have imagination, you can also add a variety of fillings, the dough just melts in your mouth, probably because all manipulations with the dough are done manually, no rolling pins, forks or anything else. Pie with potatoes and cheese is a great addition to lunch, instead of bread for soup or borscht, or you can just sit down with milk and eat a hot pie.

Ossetian pies are very tasty and there are many recipes for making them. This recipe is good for those who don’t like fatty pies because it is baked in the oven. Moreover, there is a choice of what to use for dough: milk or kefir, yogurt. no matter what product you use, the dough will be soft and pliable, unless of course the yeast is good. You can take dry yeast or in cubes, the main thing is that it is fresh and smells like yeast. I think any cheese will do, the main thing is that it is hard and always fresh. Bon Appetit everyone.
