STEP 1

How to make a pie with minced meat and potatoes? Prepare the necessary ingredients for the dough
STEP 2

Sift the flour and mix with sugar, salt and yeast. Please note that more or less flour may be needed. Focus on the consistency of the dough. It should be smooth and elastic.

Pour in warm water and stir.
STEP 4

Add vegetable oil and knead the dough.
STEP 5

Knead for about 10 minutes, a well-kneaded dough will be smooth, even and elastic.

Leave the dough in a warm place for about 1 hour, it will approximately double in volume.

When the dough has almost risen, prepare the filling. Here are the necessary ingredients for it

Cut the onion and potatoes into cubes.

Combine the minced meat with onion, salt and pepper.

Mix well.

When the dough has risen well, punch it down and divide it into two unequal parts.

Roll out most of it, place it on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil; to be on the safe side, I usually use baking paper - this way the cake will definitely not stick to the baking sheet. Place potatoes on top and add a little salt.

Then add the minced meat and onions.

Cover with the second half of the dough, which you also first roll out.
STEP 15

Pinch the edges nicely.
STEP 16

Brush the top with egg.
STEP 17

Bake the pie at 180 degrees for 1 hour. Keep in mind that everyone's oven is different. Cooking temperatures and times may differ from those indicated in the recipe.
