STEP 1
How to make mushrooms with cream and cheese in a frying pan? Prepare everything you need for this. Choose champignons that are strong and fresh. I like to cook small mushrooms whole, without cutting them. Cream can be used at any fat content. The higher the fat content, the creamier the taste of the finished dish will be. Yes, and heavy cream can be diluted with water. Choose the cheese to your taste, but the taste and consistency of the gravy depends on it.
STEP 2
Peel the onion and rinse in cold water. Then finely chop the onion. Heat the frying pan until hot and pour in a little vegetable oil. If you wish, you can also use olive oil. Place the chopped onion in the pan and fry it for a couple of minutes until translucent.
STEP 3
Rinse fresh champignons well to remove dirt. We will cook small mushrooms whole. Large mushrooms will need to be cut into 2-6 parts. There is no need to chop the mushrooms too much, as they will shrink in size when cooked. Mix mushrooms with onions. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the mushrooms for 6-8 minutes over low heat.
STEP 4
During this time, the mushrooms will decrease in size.
STEP 5
Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms, stir and fry for a minute. The flour will evenly cover the mushrooms on all sides and the sauce will subsequently pleasantly envelop each mushroom.
STEP 6
Pour warm cream over mushrooms. Add a little salt and ground pepper. Heat until the gravy thickens.
STEP 7
Sprinkle the mushrooms with grated cheese and add a little butter. Wait until everything melts and turns into a homogeneous mass.
STEP 8
Mushrooms with cheese in creamy sauce are ready! Remove the pan from the stove and serve them immediately, complementing the main course! Bon appetit!
