STEP 1
How to make minced hedgehogs with rice in a slow cooker? Prepare the following ingredients. I use minced chicken, but it can be any minced meat you want. I have steamed long grain rice, it is better to rinse it well first. You will learn all the subtleties of choosing rice from the article at the end of the recipe. I will cook it in a slow cooker, but you can cook these hedgehogs on the stove.
STEP 2
Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater.
STEP 3
Peel the onion and cut it. Pour a little oil into the multicooker bowl and fry the onion (2/3 of the onion) with carrots in the “Fry” mode. STEP 4
In a deep bowl, mix one egg, rice, minced meat and 1/3 of the chopped onion. Add salt and pepper to taste, mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 5
With wet hands, take some of the minced meat (about 1 tablespoon per hedgehog) and make balls, rolling the minced meat between your palms.
STEP 6
Place the prepared hedgehogs on top of the fried onions and carrots; it is better to place them in one layer so that they are then completely covered with the sauce.
STEP 7
Mix tomato paste with flour, sour cream, add a little salt and pepper and pour this sauce over the hedgehogs.
STEP 8
Add warm water, close the lid and turn on the “Extinguishing” mode for one hour.
STEP 9
When the program ends, open the multicooker. Serve the hedgehogs with minced meat hot. Thanks to the rice, they can be served as a separate dish.
