I will cook it in a slow cooker, but you can cook these hedgehogs on the stove.

    Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater.

    Peel the onion and cut it. Pour a little oil into the multicooker bowl and fry the onion (2/3 of the onion) with carrots in the “Fry” mode.     In a deep bowl, mix one egg, rice, minced meat and 1/3 of the chopped onion. Add salt and pepper to taste, mix everything thoroughly.

    With wet hands, take some of the minced meat (about 1 tablespoon per hedgehog) and make balls, rolling the minced meat between your palms.

    Place the prepared hedgehogs on top of the fried onions and carrots; it is better to place them in one layer so that they are then completely covered with the sauce.

    Mix tomato paste with flour, sour cream, add a little salt and pepper and pour this sauce over the hedgehogs.

    Add warm water, close the lid and turn on the “Extinguishing” mode for one hour.

I cook these hedgehogs with rice in tomato paste in a frying pan. Next time I’ll try to cook it in a slow cooker, I think it will be easier and also delicious.
