How to make manna with pumpkin using kefir? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. All products can be measured in glasses. This is convenient if you don't have scales. I use a 250 ml glass. Kefir can be of any fat content. My egg is category C1.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pumpkin can be fresh or frozen. Grate the fresh one. Frozen pumpkin must be thawed, drained and chopped with an immersion blender.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

To prepare the dough, take a comfortable deep bowl. Pour kefir into it and add semolina. Mix.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then add the egg and sugar.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Mix all ingredients until smooth and leave to stand for 30 minutes. During this time, the semolina will swell and the mass will become a little thicker.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then add soda, vanillin and pumpkin to the dough. Stir and pour the dough into a baking dish (18cm). It is convenient to prepare manna in a springform pan. Cover the bottom with parchment. Place the manna in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 35-45 minutes. The exact time and temperature will vary depending on your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

The finished manna will rise a little and become an appetizing golden color. Remove it from the oven, cool slightly and serve. You can sprinkle with powdered sugar. Perfect with tea or milk. Bon appetit!

Manna with pumpkin and kefir is very easy to prepare and doesn’t take much time. Especially if you have ready-made pumpkin puree in stock. I just had frozen puree in the volume of a glass. I made it from pumpkin baked in the oven. Mixed the remaining ingredients and left for half an hour. I added the soda at the end so that the reaction to form bubbles did not start too early. The dough turned out to be quite liquid, so I added a spoonful of flour just in case. I baked the manna in a mold with a diameter of 20 cm for about 50 minutes. Usually my manna cakes turn out a little dry, but thanks to adding pumpkin to the dough, my pie turned out juicy. At the same time, it is very porous and, as it were, layered. Very interesting structure! The taste of pumpkin is felt very slightly. Mannik is moderately sweet, it also depends on the degree of sweetness of the pumpkin itself. Overall, a great pie for a family tea party! I recommend!
