    Break the eggs into a bowl. Add sugar and vegetable oil. Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk until smooth.

    Pour milk into a saucepan, add butter. Stirring, heat everything together until the oil is completely dissolved.

    Pour the warm milk into the egg mixture and stir. The milk should not be too hot, otherwise the eggs will curdle.

    Pour semolina into the egg-milk mixture and mix thoroughly, breaking up all lumps. Leave the mixture for 30 minutes for the semolina to swell. Stir the mixture periodically.

    Sift the flour with baking powder and pour it into the dough in parts and mix with a whisk. You may need a little less or more flour, depending on its properties.     Beat the mixture with an immersion blender until fluffy. I advise you not to skip this stage, because thanks to it the finished baked goods will turn out more airy and soft.

    Pour the dough into a baking dish lined with parchment and greased with butter (I have a diameter of 20 cm). If you have a silicone mold, then you do not need to grease it. Bake the manna with milk in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 40 minutes until the skewer is dry. Time and temperature are approximate, be guided by the operating characteristics of your oven. I really love simple baked goods for every day. There is something homely and cozy about it. Lush manna with milk in the oven is just one of those baked goods. Manna is prepared very simply, from available products. The long cooking time should not be scary, because essentially it consists of the time required for the semolina to swell and for baking. Active participation here is minimal, about twelve minutes. I took 100 grams of sugar. With so much manna it turned out not very sweet, but I like it that way. I baked the pie in a cast iron pan with a diameter of 26 cm. It took exactly 40 minutes to bake. The manna turned out fluffy and soft. The next day it remained just as soft. The cake comes out of shape perfectly and crumbles slightly when cut. It is good both on its own and with some additives (for example, jam). Thank you for the wonderful recipe!
