Lentil soup in a slow cooker turned out to be tasty and nutritious. I used the ingredients in the suggested quantities. With the lid open, I turned on the baking mode, poured sunflower oil, sautéed the onions, added carrots and fried them a little, then tomatoes, potatoes, red lentils, turmeric, salt and spices to taste. I poured hot boiled water over everything, brought it to a boil, closed the lid and switched to simmer mode for 60 minutes. The turmeric gave the soup a golden hue. I didn’t pre-soak the lentils, and they cooked well. Thick and satisfying soup for lunch is ready.
