Classic pea porridge in a slow cooker
Delicious and healthy porridge! A very budget-friendly dish. Pea porridge, for all its simplicity, is a wonderful dietary and lean dish for the whole family. Using a multicooker makes its preparation extremely simple and convenient.

Step-by-step preparation
Cooking time: 2 hr 15 mins
STEP 1
Necessary products.
STEP 2
Wash the peas and soak in cool water for at least two hours. This must be done in order to remove excess sulfur from it.
STEP 3
Chop the onions and carrots.
STEP 4
Pour oil into the multicooker bowl. turn on the Frying mode. Add vegetables and fry while stirring for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 5
Then add the washed and drained peas and salt.
STEP 6
Fill with hot water and stir. Close the lid and switch the multicooker to Beans mode for two hours. After an hour, open the lid and stir.
STEP 7
Delicious, fragrant pea porridge is ready!

It turned out tasty and healthy, but in my pressure cooker it turned out to be a creamy soup, so I beat it with a blender at the end.
