Lavash pie with cottage cheese in the oven
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Let's prepare the ingredients according to the list. Depending on the desired size of the pie and the size of the mold, you need to proportionally increase or decrease the amount of ingredients. To prepare a pie for a family of two people, one pita bread is enough. It is better to use natural cottage cheese for the filling, with a high percentage of fat content, such baked goods will turn out tastier and healthier, in addition, such cottage cheese is more manageable in work.
STEP 2
Not all people like cottage cheese in its pure form, but in a pie it turns into a very tasty and tender pastry. Place cottage cheese in a bowl, add cream or sour cream, sugar, a pinch of salt and vanillin, and beat in a chicken egg. To make the curd filling denser and firmer, you can increase the number of chicken eggs.
STEP 3
Using a blender or hand whisk, grind the ingredients until the mixture is homogeneous in consistency, without large lumps of cottage cheese.
STEP 4
Beat the remaining chicken eggs with cream with a whisk or mixer and add a pinch of salt, if desired, you can add a little sugar, beat until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
STEP 5
Unroll a sheet of Armenian thin lavash. We spread and spread all the curd filling over the entire surface of the lavash. Roll the pita bread with filling into a tight roll.
STEP 6
We roll the roll in a spiral into a snail and place it in a pan greased with butter. It is better to first cover the mold with parchment and grease it with butter. To make it easier to remove the cake from the mold, the bottom and sides of the mold can be sprinkled with flour or semolina.
STEP 7
Pour the egg-cream mixture on top of the lavash “snail” with curd filling. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the pie in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes, until a golden brown crust forms on top. Remove the pie from the oven, let it cool slightly and remove from the pan.
STEP 8
Serve lavash pie with cottage cheese with tea, coffee or cocoa. This pie is not only very tasty, but also very satisfying and nutritious; protein and carbohydrates will satisfy your hunger for a long time. Drinking tea with it can replace breakfast, lunch or dinner. And for children, this delicacy can be served with condensed milk, jam or jam. Enjoy your tea!
