Jellied pizza with kefir in the oven

Original, fluffy, delicious, fast pizza! Kefir jellied pizza in the oven is a recipe that does not use ordinary yeast dough, but liquid jellied dough. Its taste is different from the traditional one, the dough is soft, and the filling sinks a little into it, which is why the pizza turns out juicy.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make jellied pizza with kefir in the oven? Prepare your food. Kefir should be warm, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance. If you don’t have time for this, then simply dilute the kefir with hot water. I baked pizza a la Margherita, so I only had tomatoes and mozzarella for pizza in the filling. You can add whatever you like, just like a classic pizza.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Beat the eggs into a bowl, add salt and sugar and mix them well with a whisk. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour in warm kefir, add soda, mix well again. A reaction will occur between the acid contained in kefir and the alkali of soda, resulting in the release of carbon dioxide, which will make the dough fluffy and soft. Since the kefir is warm, this will happen much faster. You can learn more about this by reading the article, the link to which is at the end of the recipe.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add the sifted flour and knead the dough. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baked goods will turn out airy and rise well during baking. The dough should not be stiff, flow freely, like good thick sour cream. Be prepared that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough, read more in the article, the link is at the end of the recipe.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Line the pan in which you will bake the pizza with baking paper. I took a large cast iron frying pan. Pour the dough into it, spread it evenly with a spoon over the bottom in a small layer. From this quantity I got two pizzas, like the one in the photo and another smaller one. I baked the other one without a mold, on a baking sheet, simply spreading the dough on parchment. After baking, the pizza comes off the paper perfectly, so there is no need to grease it.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour tomato sauce onto the dough and spread it evenly over the surface. I sprinkled the pizza with Italian dried herbs. Top the pizza with grated mozzarella. In general, any cheese is suitable for pizza - hard, semi-hard, soft, like mozzarella. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes and melts well.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Bake the pizza in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-30 minutes until golden brown. Your baking time and temperature may vary. You can read more about the operating features of ovens in the article about ovens. The link is at the end of the recipe. Serve the finished pizza hot, cut into pieces. Bon appetit!

I have long wanted to try pizza with jellied dough. This dough is prepared quickly; in terms of consistency, it turned out to be similar to thick sour cream. Spread it on a baking sheet with a spoon, forming a circle. Add tomato paste on top and spread it with a spoon over the entire surface of the base. I added sausage and tomato to the pizza (I like the combination of these products with cheese). Covered everything with grated cheese on top. I cooked the jellied pizza with kefir in the oven for 25 minutes until the cheese was browned. The crumb of the pizza came out tender, and together with the filling it turned out very tasty! Thank you very much for the recipe!

Thank you for the pizza recipe. It’s quick and convenient to bake in a multicooker. I have a Redmond-400 multicooker/pressure cooker, I baked it in it several times, although I made the dough for it with yeast. Now I’ll try it with kefir.

This recipe really helped me out when I want pizza right away and don’t have time to knead the yeast dough. Jellied pizza with kefir is prepared in the oven in one or two minutes, but it turns out no worse than traditional one. I also added minced meat to mine, and it worked. Thanks to the author for the recipe!
