  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make simple pizza dough? Let's prepare the ingredients. It is better to boil the water and cool it to room temperature. If desired, instead of boiled water, you can take filtered water, milk, kefir or whey. In Italy, durum wheat flour is used for pizza. If you don't have one, try to buy one that is unbleached and has a high gluten content. Both the quality of the dough and the taste of the finished pizza will depend on this.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Sift the wheat flour into a deep bowl. The flour must be sifted, and preferably more than once. Firstly, this will saturate the flour with oxygen, make it lighter and airier, the dough more manageable and elastic, and the products made from it tasty and soft. Secondly, this will prevent foreign objects that may be in a packet of flour from getting into the dough.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Beat the chicken eggs into a separate bowl, add salt and beat them with a fork or whisk until the mixture is homogeneous in consistency, the white of the chicken egg should be completely dispersed and mixed with the yolk. Add water there and stir until smooth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour the egg mixture and vegetable oil into a bowl with flour (you can make a depression and pour everything into the formed hole) and knead the dough, first with a spoon, then with your hands, so that it is homogeneous in consistency. If required, add a little sifted wheat flour.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the dough on a floured work surface and continue kneading it with your hands, adding more flour if necessary. Each manufacturer has different quality and density of flour, so the amount of flour required for kneading dough may change up or down. Focus primarily on the consistency: the dough should be elastic and smooth, quite dense, but amenable to rolling into a thin layer (about 5 mm)

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The dough is ready. You can move on to preparing the pizza toppings and baking or frying them. This dough is better suited for making pizza in a frying pan, but this dough will also make delicious homemade pizza in the oven. Bon appetit!

I found a recipe for the simplest pizza dough without yeast. Made it in a matter of minutes. Prepared for 2 servings, taking 1 cup flour, 1 egg, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil, 0.3 cups of water and a pinch of salt. These products were enough to prepare the dough for one pizza, as I expected. The dough turned out soft, elastic, pliable. It rolled out easily and kept its shape well. When I placed the dough in a cast iron frying pan, I stretched it, making sides. I noticed that the dough obediently remained in the place I needed. I baked a pizza with sausage, tomatoes, pickled cucumber and cheese from the dough. They ate it in the heat of the moment. The pizza dough is thin and crispy. Next time I'll try to make pizza from this dough in a frying pan. Thanks for the recipe!

I really liked the elasticity when kneading the dough. Density, strength, molding. But in the oven itself it just hardened and became dry and not tasty (I’ve been looking for the perfect pizza dough for quite a long time, and so far only the runny dough with kefir has won. It’s a pity, I thought I’d like this dough, but it’s clearly missing something. It’s a pity. I don’t even know, maybe yeast... very harsh and a little tasteless.

Prepares quickly, elastic. It turns out dry and crispy even with a baking tray filled with water. The crunchiness is great, but very dry. In a pizza with 4 cheeses, this is hardly noticeable, the cheese overshadows the whole taste, but the margarita is not very good. Too eggy and dry

I tried baking it as the author advises in a frying pan, and it turned out very tasty. The dough is moderately soft, moderately crispy.
