Useful energy! Healthy snack! It's very easy to cook! Forward! By the way, what do you snack on or overeat (God forbid) when you want something sweet or just want to eat?! These bars are a great option (if you don't overeat, of course). It is better to supplement such food with protein, it will be even healthier.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

    Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Measure out a cup of nuts. You can use any nuts and seeds you like. Poppy, sesame and other super-food seeds are also good here. Chop the nuts with a knife.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Mix oatmeal, dried cherries and nuts. Instead of dried cherries, you can use any dried fruit.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Remove the core from the apple and place the apple and banana in a blender.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

    Make a puree.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add honey, vanilla, cinnamon (I always use one of these because they overpower each other), sugar (to taste) and salt. Beat again.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add honey and mix well. If the honey is hard, melt it.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Add the puree little by little to the flakes and knead.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

When all the flakes are well wet, the puree is enough.

Line an oven tray with parchment and add the mixture.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Spread over the bottom and tamp down well with your fist.

    STEP 12

Place in the oven and cook at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

  13. STEP 13

I recently baked similar bars for my husband and asked to make more. I found a recipe for a homemade energy bar on the website. Here the process is a little different, you need to puree a banana and an apple. I did this using a blender. I took two small bananas and apples too, because I know from previous experience that oatmeal absorbs a lot of liquid. I added honey to the puree to make it better distributed. I poured a couple more tablespoons of oil into this mixture for a golden color. The fillings I had were flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds and sesame seeds. The mixture became moist when kneading, but I would also add puree for binding. Spread the mixture over the baking sheet with a spoon, and then press it down with a cutting board. I baked it as indicated in the recipe for 20 minutes at 180°. The layer was cut after cooling. The slices crumble a little, but that’s not a big deal) The bars are a little chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Very tasty, especially with kefir or yogurt, banana tastes good. And most importantly, they are healthy, a real superfood!
