STEP 1
How to fry potatoes and eggs in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. The products are simple and affordable and can always be found in every home. STEP 2
Rinse the chopped potatoes again to remove excess starch and place them in a colander to drain the water and dry the potatoes. It is better to use non-crumbly varieties for frying, so that they do not turn into mashed potatoes during the cooking process.
STEP 3
Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan, turn on the heat, and heat it up. Place potatoes in boiling oil, reduce heat to medium and fry potatoes over medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. If you want the potatoes to turn out soft, then you need to fry them in a frying pan under a closed lid and only at the end remove the lid and let the potatoes brown.
STEP 4
To obtain rosy and crispy fried potatoes, you need to fry them without covering the pan with a lid during the entire cooking process. Add salt and spices to the pan with the potatoes. If you wish, you can use ready-made seasoning for potatoes; it includes turmeric, which will give the potatoes a beautiful golden hue. Gently stir the potatoes and fry for another 5 minutes.
STEP 5
Meanwhile, crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them lightly with a fork or whisk until the yolks and whites are separated. Pour the egg mixture over all the potatoes in the pan. You can simply crack the chicken eggs directly into the frying pan with the potatoes, and then quickly and carefully mix the ingredients, or leave them whole, whichever you prefer.
STEP 6
Cover the pan with a lid and reduce heat to low. Fry the potatoes and eggs for about 10 minutes. Remove the lid and let the dish dry. Turn off the heat and serve. Bon appetit!
