Curd pie in a slow cooker

Fast, simple, whipped up, very tasty! Curd pie in a slow cooker is a simple baking option for a cozy home tea party. It is similar to a cheesecake, with a moist and heavy crumb. It is made from available products; kneading the dough takes only 5 minutes.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make cottage cheese pie in a slow cooker? Prepare your food. Cottage cheese and sour cream are suitable for any fat content. Choose high-quality, natural dairy products, without vegetable fats. All ingredients should be at room temperature, so remove them from the refrigerator in advance.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place the cottage cheese and sour cream in a bowl and stir with a spoon or spatula until smooth. If your cottage cheese is very grainy, then puree the mixture with a blender.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Beat the eggs into a separate bowl. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Beat the eggs with a mixer, adding sugar in portions. Beat until light and fluffy.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour the beaten eggs into the curd mixture, stir with a spatula until smooth.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Sift half the flour and baking powder into the resulting mixture. Stir and start adding the remaining flour in small portions, kneading the dough. Be prepared that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The resulting dough should be quite thick, but not tough. I have about 50 grams of unadded flour left.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Grease the multicooker bowl with butter. Place the dough into it and smooth the top with a spatula.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the multicooker bowl into the appliance and close the lid. Set the multicooker to a setting suitable for baking. The name will depend on the features of your model - on mine it is called “Baking”. If you set the time, then set it to 60 minutes. After the signal about the end of the program, turn off the multicooker, but do not open it immediately - let the cake stand for 20 minutes.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Then remove the bowl and remove the pie from it. It came out easily for me, you can use a steamer insert.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Cool the finished pie and serve. When serving, you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!

Yesterday I saw this recipe for cottage cheese pie in a slow cooker on my feed and immediately decided to make it. There was just a pack of cottage cheese 250 grams. The pie cooks really quickly. For the dough, I, like the author, took a little less flour. I also took 20 g less sugar. I haven’t done any baking in a slow cooker for a long time, only in the oven. And here is just a recipe for a slow cooker! I cooked it in my slow cooker for 60 minutes, then left it to sit for a little longer. This time was enough for me. The pie turned out very cute and delicious, such a beautiful shape! The taste of cottage cheese is clearly felt. Indeed, a great option for home tea drinking! I didn’t turn the pie over, I left it as it was in the slow cooker, and sprinkled a little powdered sugar on top. The pie came out of the multicooker very well. I always grease the multicooker bowl with oil and always sprinkle it with semolina. Ekaterina, thank you so much for such a simple and delicious recipe! Here is my photo report)))

Thanks to the Author for the recipe! I liked the pie! I didn’t use a blender, so there were grains of cottage cheese left in the dough. Decorate the cooled cake with lemon glaze and sprinkles. Let's bake some more!

I was recently given a multicooker, and I can’t help but be amazed at what you can cook in it! Previously, my mother and I made cottage cheese cake on a sheet in the oven, it turned out very tender and tasty, but it really broke and crumbled while it was hot. I haven’t made this cake for a long time, I completely forgot about it... But in vain! Now I will cook this wonderful curd cake in a slow cooker! It's actually very easy to do!
