Charlotte with apples and banana

Great baked goods with fruit for every day! Charlotte with apples and banana turns out fluffy and aromatic. In order for apple slices to be successfully combined with tender pieces of bananas, it is necessary to cut off the skin and remove the core from the apples. You can take bananas of any ripeness, the main thing is that the pulp itself is moderately dense and does not fall apart. It is important that the whey added to the dough is not cold, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance or heat it in a water bath to the desired temperature.

Charlotte with apples and banana reminded me of manna. The principle of preparing the dough is similar, only whey is used. I just had whey left over from making cheese and I immediately found a suitable recipe. I left the mixture with semolina for half an hour, after which I added flour. I kept everything in proportion. I added the baking soda last. I didn’t quench it with lemon juice, because it was already in my serum. The consistency of the dough is not thick, fluid. Once it bubbled, I poured it over the fruit. For the filling I took three small apples, a banana and some raisins. I chose a wide shape so that the cake would not be tall. Bake for 35 minutes at 180° until dry. It turned out to be a very tasty and juicy pie! It is soft, fluffy, crumbly. The crust is slightly chewy, like toffee. Excellent pie, we quickly ate it with tea. Thanks for the recipe!

A very interesting option! Since we have a large family, I almost always add more food (that’s what I like about the site, you can’t go wrong with the quantity ☺). I got such a plump one, I decided to turn it over, I liked it better, powdered it and decorated it with bagels 🥰

Thanks for the recipe. Everything was baked great! I liked that it wasn’t too sweet. I didn’t extinguish the soda, though. In the serum it extinguishes itself quite well. I haven’t added bananas yet, but it’s delicious without them too.
