Buns with turkey meatballs in the oven

STEP 1

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Line a baking sheet with food foil and lightly grease with vegetable oil. Pass the turkey fillet through a meat grinder or finely chop it with a knife. In a bowl, mix the turkey mince, bread crumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper and parsley. Mix and cut the mass into 8 parts. , forming balls. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes (you will need to turn them over after 10 minutes), and remove from the baking sheet.
STEP 2

Dry the mozzarella and cut into 8 slices. Cut the buns in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through, unroll and place on a baking sheet. Place a slice of mozzarella on the bottom half. Cook the buns in the oven until golden brown and the cheese has melted, it is better to keep the oven door ajar. Place the meatballs on the melted mozzarella, pour 1 tbsp of tomato sauce and garnish with a basil leaf, and then cover with the top half of the bun.
STEP 3

Serve the finished buns 2 per serving; for convenience, you can fasten them with a wooden skewer.
