Set the multicooker to the “Frying” mode or any other mode that allows you to fry foods in it. This will depend on the model of your device. Pour vegetable oil for frying into it and heat it. Peel the garlic and also cut into slices.

  6. STEP 6

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes. After 40 minutes from the start of stewing, place the potatoes in the bowl. Simmer for the remaining 40 minutes until the potatoes are cooked and the meat is tender.

I read the description of the recipe for the basics in a multicooker in Tatar style and immediately imagined this yummy). I also wanted to cook. I tried Aza once in a cafe, then I thought that I should definitely learn how to make this dish. This is a new experience for me, so I did everything step by step. I had some pretty tough shin beef. It turned out to be cut not into cubes, but into thin slices, but across the grain. Fry the pieces until golden brown. Then I decided to simmer the meat for an additional 40 minutes due to its toughness. Next, according to the recipe, I stewed for 40 minutes along with tomato paste, homemade pickles, bay leaves and garlic. I had small cloves, so I left them whole. Peeled the young potatoes and cut them into large cubes. I rinsed it well to remove starch and loaded it into the multicooker bowl. I simmered until the end of the program, i.e. another 40 minutes. Then let it simmer for 20 minutes before serving. I was very pleased with the result, although I was not used to it without onions and carrots). Delicious dish! After all the manipulations, the beef became soft and juicy. Thanks to the acid contained in the tomato, the potatoes did not boil over. At the same time, it is tender, soaked in all the delicious juices. It's amazing how well pickles complement potatoes and meat. Overall, this dish is a must try, I recommend it!
