STEP 1
How to make the basics in a slow cooker in Tatar style? Prepare your food. Azu is prepared from beef, preferably from the pulp - tenderloin, shoulder, neck. Wash the potatoes well and dry.
STEP 2
Wash and dry the meat. Cut it into long bars across the grain. This cutting will allow the meat to remain soft.
STEP 3
Set the multicooker to the “Frying” mode or any other mode that allows you to fry foods in it. This will depend on the model of your device. Pour vegetable oil for frying into it and heat it. STEP 4
Cut the cucumbers into long slices. If you use gherkins, increase their quantity.
STEP 5
Peel the garlic and also cut into slices.
STEP 6
Place cucumbers, garlic, tomato paste, bay leaves in a bowl. Salt, pepper and mix the products.
STEP 7
Pour meat broth or hot water into the slow cooker.
STEP 8
Cook the basics in the “Stew” mode (or another suitable for stewing) for 1 hour 20 minutes. The exact time will depend on the mode you choose and the multicooker model.
STEP 9
Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes. After 40 minutes from the start of stewing, place the potatoes in the bowl. Simmer for the remaining 40 minutes until the potatoes are cooked and the meat is tender.
STEP 10
Sprinkle the finished basics with chopped dill. Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
