Apple and cinnamon roll

An excellent roll - juicy, with a lot of filling. This roll can be made from store-bought puff pastry or yeast dough. Or you can spend a little time and prepare your own dough.

    Mix yeast, sugar and warm milk and leave for 10 minutes.

    Sift the flour.

    Add egg, soft butter, vegetable oil and salt to the dough, mix.

    Gradually add flour to the dough.

    Knead soft elastic dough. You may need a little more or a little less flour.

    Cover the dough with a towel and leave to rise for 1 hour. After an hour, knead the dough and leave under the towel for another 1 hour. I used the dough that I prepared in advance and froze.

    Chop the nuts.

    Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater.

    Grind the cloves in a grinder. Heat olive oil in a frying pan, add cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg and heat for about 10 seconds.

    Then add apples, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar to the pan.

    Simmer, stirring, 5 minutes.

    Transfer the roll to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 35 minutes.
