Apple and cinnamon roll

STEP 1

STEP 2

Mix yeast, sugar and warm milk and leave for 10 minutes.
STEP 3

Sift the flour.
STEP 4

Add egg, soft butter, vegetable oil and salt to the dough, mix.
STEP 5

Gradually add flour to the dough.
STEP 6

Knead soft elastic dough. You may need a little more or a little less flour.
STEP 7

Cover the dough with a towel and leave to rise for 1 hour. After an hour, knead the dough and leave under the towel for another 1 hour. I used the dough that I prepared in advance and froze.

Filling.

Chop the nuts.
STEP 10

Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater.
STEP 11

Grind the cloves in a grinder. Heat olive oil in a frying pan, add cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg and heat for about 10 seconds.

Then add apples, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar to the pan.
STEP 13

Simmer, stirring, 5 minutes.
STEP 14

At the end add chopped hazelnuts and stir.
STEP 15

Simmer for another half a minute and remove from heat. Cool.
STEP 16

Roll out the dough into a thin rectangle.
STEP 17

Spread the apple filling evenly throughout the dough, leaving the edges free.
STEP 18

Roll the dough into a roll.
STEP 19

Transfer the roll to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 35 minutes.
STEP 20

Grease the finished roll with butter and cut into pieces.
