Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.

I always make poppy seed baked goods so that there is more poppy seed and less dough. I did not cook the poppy seeds with milk for long, literally 3 minutes. Then I made the dough, first the dough, then kneaded the dough, did not leave it for 30 minutes, I immediately added all the flour, kneaded it into a soft and pliable dough, and left it to proof for an hour. It was easy to roll out and this dough was very pleasant to work with. Spread it with poppy seed filling and roll it up. Everything is very easy and simple, exactly according to the recipe. I baked the roll after proofing for half an hour until golden brown. The roll turned out amazingly aromatic and tasty, the dough is soft, there is a lot of filling) It is cut perfectly and does not crumble.
