Most often, the main ingredients for cookie dough are fat (butter or margarine), sour cream, kefir, cottage cheese and eggs. Honey, chocolate, nuts and dried fruits can be a pleasant addition. The consistency of the dough can be very different: from soft to quite tight. You can shape the cookies with your hands or, after rolling out the dough, give it various shapes with a knife or special cutouts.
Interesting recipe: 1. Pour kefir and egg contents into a bowl.2. Add a pinch of salt, sugar, refined vegetable oil.3. Mix thoroughly with a whisk.4. Mix the sifted flour with baking powder.5. Combine both masses.6. Knead into a soft, elastic dough.7. Roll out the dough into a rope.8. Divide into equal parts weighing about 40 grams.9. From each part we make a small flagellum. Press it down lightly with your hand.10. Dip the resulting workpiece with its upper side into sugar.11. Place on a baking sheet lined with oiled parchment.12. Bake at 180° for 25-30 minutes until beautifully golden brown.
Helpful tips:• To ensure that the toppings (sugar, nuts and others) stick well and do not fall off, the surface of the cookies can be greased with a beaten egg.• If you add aromatic ginger, cinnamon, vanillin or zest to the dough, then even the simplest dough will turn into incredible baked goods.
