I was expecting my granddaughter to visit and prepared cookies for her according to the recipe for shortbread cookies with eggs and butter. Made for 4 servings. I adjusted the recipe a little and instead of one egg I put two in the dough, the eggs were small - the second category. I had to increase the amount of flour in order to achieve the desired consistency of the dough (as advised in the recipe). Having combined all the ingredients, kneaded the dough, put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. The dough turned out to be plastic and easy to roll out. I cut out the cookie blanks with a glass. There were 20 pieces in total. I baked for 25 minutes at 220° (I set the temperature based on the operation of my oven). The aroma in the house while cooking was amazing! My cookies turned out soft, moderately crumbly and moderately sweet. My granddaughter was pleased. Thank you very much for the recipe!
