STEP 1

How to bake shortbread cookies with eggs and butter? Very easy and fast. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Take the highest grade flour. I have a large, selected egg. If the eggs are small, you can use 2 pieces, but keep in mind that in this case you may need more flour.
STEP 2

Sift the flour into a bowl. Add sugar, baking powder and vanillin to the flour and mix well.
STEP 3

Cut the butter into small cubes and add to the flour mixture. Grind everything into fine crumbs with your hands. To save time, you can mix everything in a blender bowl and beat until fine crumbs.
STEP 4

Add an egg to the sand crumbs. Using your hands, quickly knead into a homogeneous, elastic shortbread dough.
STEP 5

As soon as the dough begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl and stops sticking to your hands, it is ready. If necessary, you can add a little more flour. You can start working with the dough right away or put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
STEP 6

Roll out the shortbread dough on a floured table into a layer about 1 cm thick. The dough is very pliable, easily rolls out in the desired direction, and does not stick to the table. Using a shot glass or narrow glass, cut out circles from the dough. They can be any size depending on what size cookies you prefer.
STEP 7

Place the cookies spaced apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Use a fork to make a cross pattern on the surface of the cookies. Bake the cookies in an oven preheated to 180°C for 15-20 minutes. The exact baking time depends on your oven. Make sure the cookies don't burn on the bottom. When baking, the pattern may lose clarity. If you wish, you can use a fork to stamp the cookie again halfway through the baking process.
