Salad with pickled mushrooms
Marinated mushrooms are one of the best and most successful ingredients for making salads (and more). Most often, housewives use champignons or honey mushrooms (because they are almost always available for sale in canned form). If you take homemade marinades, you can make a salad from any mushrooms: milk mushrooms, boletus, saffron milk caps, chanterelles, butter mushrooms, and so on.
Before use, the liquid from the mushrooms must be drained, and the mushrooms themselves must be placed in a colander to remove all excess glass. Otherwise, the dish may “float” quite quickly. It is better to cut individuals that are too large into several parts, but not to cut them too small. Although the texture of the dish, large or fine, is a matter of taste.
Among hundreds of recipes for salad with pickled mushrooms, you can find a variety of variations, including very simple ones, for every day, and more complex, sophisticated, festive ones. The salad is prepared in puff or mixed form, like a “cocktail” in a glass, in portions (each portion is prepared separately) or in a common salad bowl.
