Barley porridge
Pearl barley is a whole cereal grain called barley that has been peeled. It is very healthy, rich in B vitamins, and contains useful microelements. This is one of the most popular products in a healthy diet. The taste of pearl barley depends on the ability to prepare it. Our ancestors knew recipes for pearl barley porridge. It takes a little longer to cook than other cereals, but it always turns out tasty and satisfying. In cooking, there are several varieties of porridges. They are cooked sweet in milk and generously flavored with butter. Recipes for unsweetened porridges in meat broth with the addition of pieces of champignons, pumpkin, cheese, shrimp, green peas, tomatoes, sweet peppers, onions, carrots, green beans have found their fans. Before cooking, the grains are soaked in water for 6-12 hours to reduce the time cooking.
