Barley porridge with tomato juice and beef in the oven

Cut the meat into small pieces; I really like beef in combination with pearl barley, but you can use other meat

Finely chop the onion

Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and place the chopped meat in it, fry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

Then add chopped onion to the meat.

Then add tomato juice (or tomato paste diluted with water).

Salt, pepper and cook covered for another 5 minutes

Wash the barley well and fry over low heat for 3-5 minutes until lightly golden, this simple step is very important and will make our barley crumbly

Place fried barley and meat with vegetables in one large pot or several small ones.

Add a little more salt and mix

Pass the garlic through a press and put in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes, and then reduce the heat to 180 degrees and wait another hour
