    Fry the remaining vegetables in the same pan: first the carrots and potatoes, then add the cabbage. Salt and pepper to taste.

Sometimes I cook the second one in pots to pamper my loved ones with something delicious. Today I made vegetables with meat. I chopped them coarsely so that when stewing the vegetables would not turn into mush. The meat was fried along with onions over high heat. Separately, I fried carrots, potatoes and cabbage with salt and seasoning. I placed fried meat on the bottom of the pots (I had 2 pots of 0.5 liters each), then vegetables. Placed tomato slices on top. I added a bay leaf and a little water. I stewed the vegetables and meat in pots in the oven for 40 minutes at 220° (less time than in the recipe). The meat and vegetables became soft, juicy, and appetizing. The cabbage gave the dish a delicate sweetness, the tomato remained juicy and “alive”, a piquant sourness, and the bay leaf gave an indescribable aroma. Overall it turned out filling and very tasty!
