Sprouted lentils are good for your health! Salads with sprouted lentils are very nutritious and healthy. Lentils - black "Beluga" are the most seductive, they resemble the caviar of this fish, but sprouted ones are good because they contain 1 percent more fiber than regular ones, the same thing happens with vitamin C (only in lentils, other legumes do not provide such results). So I decided to organize a health holiday. The salad turned out to be unusual in taste, I didn’t even immediately understand what a new taste it was, but then I accepted it and gladly introduced it to my family. Today I offer it to you. Shura, wonderful salad. I love lentils very much, although I mostly cook soups with them. But did you sprout the lentils yourself using plain ones or do you need to buy some special ones for sprouting???

Any lentil can be sprouted, but in a salad, black Beluga looks more impressive and festive, it looks like black caviar. You need to germinate like this: wash the lentils, fill them with water and leave for 5-10 minutes, then drain the water, like this. so that there is just a little bit left on top, almost not noticeable, and cover with a paper napkin so that the dust does not settle and leave it like that for 1-2 days, and then we look, when the sprouts appear, they are clearly visible, which means the process has started and everything is ready, you can use it further. This time it germinated for me longer - about 4 days, I don’t even know how to explain it, usually everything happens faster. It’s a very useful and nutritious thing, but please try it.

Shura, you made a very interesting salad. It can make a very wonderful salad for a balanced diet. We also use sprouted sprouts in salads and sprout them ourselves, but these are chickpeas or wheat. I’m thinking about maybe making recipes for sprouting seeds and legumes, what do you think?

Shura, thank you for explaining. I read somewhere else that the most useful grains are those whose sprout is no more than 2-3 mm, then it seems to contain the most vitamins. I doubt that I will find black lentils, we only have red ones in our stores, and there are green ones, but I think they will be no worse
