STEP 1
How to make a salad with smoked chicken, Korean carrots and eggs? First, decide which Korean carrots you will use to make the salad. It’s easier and faster to buy something purchased, or you can make it yourself, which will be tastier and much cheaper. Depending on your choice, prepare the ingredients. I always make this salad with carrots that I make myself. Plus it's simple and only takes 10 minutes of your time. If you don't believe me, just cook it once and see for yourself.
STEP 2
Peel the carrots and grate them using a Korean carrot grater. If you don’t have one, then make thin slices using a vegetable peeler and cut into thin strips with a sharp knife. Place in a bowl, add salt, sugar and use your hands so that the carrots give a little juice. Then pour in the vinegar and stir. You can use vinegar at your discretion, but keep in mind that they have different percentages of acid. Be careful. Gather the carrots into mounds and sprinkle the seasoning on top.
STEP 3
Vegetable oil, odorless, otherwise you will kill all other tastes, heat it up very high. Pour the oil over the spices in a thin stream and stir with a spoon. Add the grated garlic and stir again, bringing the carrots to taste. I don’t have specific carrot proportions, I make them solely to my taste. But there are excellent recipes on our website, and you can choose the one that suits you. Drain off excess liquid and you are ready to make the salad.
STEP 4
Remove smoked chicken from bones and remove skin. When smoking, soot settles on the skin, and our body does not need this at all. Cut the meat into strips and add it to the bowl with the carrots.
STEP 5
Boil the eggs until fully cooked and cool. Chop and add to a bowl of salad, they will add a softness to the salad. Cook the eggs for no more than 10-13 minutes, then they will be completely cooked, but will not become rubbery. If the eggs are difficult to clean, break the shell and keep them in boiled cold water for a while. Water will penetrate inside, under the film, and the shell will come off without any problems.
STEP 6
Mix the salad well. Of course, in this form it is quite ready, but it lacks a fresh note.
STEP 7
So wash the cucumber, cut it into thin strips and add it to the bowl with the salad.
STEP 8
Stir the salad and add mayonnaise. Instead of mayonnaise, you can use sour cream or natural yogurt, which is certainly much healthier.
STEP 9
Divide the salad among plates and serve. Bon appetit.
