Snail meat pie with chicken and mushrooms
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

I'm preparing the ingredients. The dough is ready to defrost first.
STEP 2

For the filling, cut the chicken into 1-2 cm cubes.
STEP 3

I clean the mushrooms and chop them not very finely so that they can be felt later in the pie.
STEP 4

I chop the onion randomly. I chop the parsley.
STEP 5

I set the frying pan to heat up over high heat and add oil. After the butter has melted, lay out the chicken and fry until half cooked for literally 3-5 minutes. Add the onion, stir, fry for another 2 minutes. Place the mushrooms and simmer over medium heat with the lid closed for another 5 minutes. Add salt, spices and dill, stir and leave to cool.
STEP 6

Let's do the test. I dust the surface and rolling pin with flour. I roll out the dough vertically to about 80 cm in length and 15-20 cm in width. I spread the cooled filling in the middle of the sausage.
STEP 7

I pinch the edges of the dough.
STEP 8

I prepare a baking sheet. I spray the baking sheet with water to prevent the parchment from slipping. I lay out parchment paper for baking and sprinkle it with a little flour. I place the dough sausage on a baking sheet and twist it from the center into the shape of a snail. I beat the yolk and evenly brush it over the top and sides of the pie with a silicone brush. This will give me a nice color when baking. Sprinkle generously with sesame seeds.
