Simple jellied meat pie with kefir

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to bake a simple jellied meat pie? Start by preparing the filling. Prepare the ingredients according to the list. For minced meat I used pork and beef, but you can use one pork, beef or chicken fillet, turkey. Twist the meat through a meat grinder in advance.
STEP 2

Peel the onions, rinse with cold water and finely chop. Heat refined vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the chopped onion, stirring occasionally, for about 1-2 minutes until soft.
STEP 3

Add the minced meat to the onion. Fry over medium heat, mashing the minced meat with a fork or wooden spatula so that there are no lumps. Salt, pepper, add dried basil or other spices suitable for meat at your discretion. Pass a clove of garlic through a press for flavor.
STEP 4

Fry the minced meat over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until the liquid evaporates, do not fry too much so that it does not turn out dry.
STEP 5

While the filling is being prepared, quickly prepare the dough. Prepare the necessary ingredients. Be sure to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen, then the cake will turn out airy.
STEP 6

Beat 3 large chicken eggs into a container. If the eggs are small, take 4 pieces. Add salt, sugar.
STEP 7

Using a fork or whisk, beat the eggs until smooth.
STEP 8

Pour kefir into the egg mixture and whisk again until smooth.
STEP 9

In a separate container, mix sifted flour and baking soda. Mix well with a spoon.
STEP 10

Combine dry and liquid ingredients by pouring the egg-kefir mixture into the flour. Mix thoroughly until all the flour is absorbed. The dough is ready! By this time the filling is ready. It took about 10 minutes to prepare!
STEP 11

A ceramic, metal or heat-resistant glass mold, like mine, must be greased with vegetable or butter. If you have a silicone mold, there is no need to grease it, since nothing will stick in it. Pour half of the dough into the mold and smooth it out with a spoon. Spread the fried minced meat on top of the surface. Sprinkle with chopped dill or other herbs.
STEP 12

Fill with the second half of the dough. Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 35-45 minutes. Baking time depends on the features of your oven. Check readiness with a wooden toothpick or skewer. Pierce the pie with it. The toothpick should come out dry with no sticky dough.
STEP 13

Remove the finished pie from the oven. If desired, grease its surface with a piece of butter to make it shiny. Let the baked goods cool slightly, then cut into portions and try!
STEP 14

Serve the pie warm with canned or fresh vegetables and sauces. Bon appetit!
