STEP 1
How to make a salad with squid and cabbage? Prepare your food. Pre-defrost the squid by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Instead of white cabbage, Chinese cabbage is also suitable. Remove the corn from the jar, draining the liquid.
STEP 2
Place the squid in a saucepan and cover with cold, clean water. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the water to a boil. When this happens, remove the ladle from the stove and wait until it cools. Then rinse the squid under running water - the film will be washed off very easily due to the fact that the squid has been in boiling water. Remove the entrails and chorda plate.
STEP 3
Dry the clean carcasses and cut them into thin strips.
STEP 4
Rinse the cabbage with cold water and tear off the top leaves. Also chop the head of cabbage into thin strips (the salad will look beautiful and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape). If you are preparing a salad with white cabbage, knead it with your hands until it softens.
STEP 5
Rinse the green onions well and dry. Cut it into thin rings.
STEP 6
Place the chopped ingredients in a salad bowl and add the canned corn. Salt and pepper the salad to taste. Keep in mind that it will be seasoned with mayonnaise, do not oversalt it. Mix the ingredients.
STEP 7
Season the salad with mayonnaise and mix it well. Instead of mayonnaise, you can use vegetable oil with lemon juice - in this case the salad will be less calorie.
