Salad with spinach and cucumber

STEP 1

How to make a salad with spinach and cucumber? Prepare all the necessary components. You can use regular tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes. It is better to take mustard that is not spicy and has a mild taste. Rinse all vegetables.
STEP 2

Wash each spinach leaf in clean cold water. Place the spinach on paper towels and dry well. Cut off the thick stems and cut the leaves into small strips. Place the spinach in a deep bowl of suitable size.
STEP 3

Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the center with seeds and cut into thin semicircles. If you take peppers of different colors, the salad will look brighter and more appetizing. Place the bell peppers in a salad bowl.
STEP 4

Chop the cucumber into small pieces. If necessary, cut off the skin of the vegetable. Send to spinach.
STEP 5

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half or into quarters. Add to all ingredients.
STEP 6

Chop the onion into thin feathers or half rings. For the salad, it is better to take white or red onions. Add to bowl.
STEP 7

Add pumpkin seeds to the salad bowl. If desired, you can lightly dry them in a dry frying pan; I usually don’t do this.
STEP 8

Prepare the dressing. In a small deep container, mix olive oil, a little apple or balsamic vinegar, mustard and chopped garlic. It is permissible to pass the garlic through a garlic press; do it as you are more accustomed to.
STEP 9

Pour the aromatic oil over the salad. Add salt to taste and sprinkle with ground pepper. I used allspice and ground sweet paprika.
STEP 10

Mix everything well and leave the salad to brew for about five minutes.
STEP 11

The spinach salad with tomatoes and cucumber is ready, serve!
