STEP 1

How to make a salad from cabbage, bell peppers and tomatoes? Prepare all vegetables according to the list. If you have the opportunity, use young cabbage. It has juicy, tender leaves, which will make the salad brighter and more appetizing.
STEP 2

Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage. Rinse the head of cabbage under running cold water and dry with paper towels. There should be no excess water left on the cabbage. Chop the cabbage into thin strips and place in a deep suitable bowl.
STEP 3

Rinse the bell pepper, cut in half and remove the seeds and core. The salad will look brighter and more beautiful if you take peppers of different colors. This time I took yellow pepper. So, cut the pepper into thin semicircles or feathers. Send to cabbage.
STEP 4

Rinse and dry the tomatoes. Cut into small slices or large cubes and add to the salad bowl. I usually use several cherry tomatoes for vegetable salads. They are juicy and sweetish, which gives the finished dish a special taste.
STEP 5

Peel the onion and cut thinly. Shallots, white lettuce or red onions are ideal for vegetable salads.
STEP 6

Prepare the dressing. In a small deep container, combine olive oil and the juice of half a lemon. If desired, add a pinch of ground paprika and other favorite seasonings. Mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 7

Sprinkle the salad with finely chopped herbs such as parsley, dill or green onions. Salt to taste and pour over the dressing.
STEP 8

Mix everything thoroughly and leave the salad to brew for 5-10 minutes. Stir again, garnish with a few sprigs of parsley or dill and serve!
