Raw beet salad with carrots, apples and nuts
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make a salad from beets, carrots and apples? Prepare all the products indicated in the recipe. The quantity of each component can be increased according to your taste; in any case, the salad will turn out very healthy and tasty. Which apples are better to take? Sour and sweet and sour apples work well.
STEP 2

Peel the carrots and beets, rinse and dry with paper towels. Peel the walnuts. Instead of walnuts, it is permissible to take pine nut grains, or you can completely exclude nuts from the salad.
STEP 3

Next you need to grind all the ingredients. There are several ways to do this. You can grate vegetables and apples on a regular grater with large teeth, use a vegetable cutter for Korean salads, or cut everything by hand with a knife. I cut the salad by hand. So, cut the beets in half, then each half into thin slices. Next, cut each plate into thin strips, as in the photo. Place the beets in a salad bowl.
STEP 4

Cut the carrots into thin cubes.
STEP 5

Grind the walnuts in a mortar.
STEP 6

Lastly, slice the apple. If desired, first remove the peel from the apple, but keep in mind that it contains the maximum amount of vitamins. To prevent the apple from darkening and spoiling the appearance of the salad, sprinkle it with lemon juice.
STEP 7

Next are two ways to dress the salad. The first is to season the salad with vegetable oil. Add nuts and garlic, passed through a press (or chopped by hand), to the salad and pour over a small amount of oil. Add salt to taste.
STEP 8

The second is to use natural yogurt for dressing. Add yogurt (or sour cream), as well as nuts and garlic to the vegetables. Add salt to taste. Stir, sprinkle with fresh herbs and ground allspice. Serve to the table.
